Pramesh Modi is a tennis professional, coach (since 1985), and founder of Ace Tennis Academy, India’s first and only covered clay-court academy. He has trained 20,000+ players; 200+ have won internationally and 400+ have won national titles, with several trainees advancing to Grand Slams. He has coached across Chicago, Kenya, Oman, and Gujarat, and has hosted/organised 50+ state, 40 national, and 10 international tennis tournaments.
Born with a disability, Pramesh embraced sport at 15 against medical advice, represented his state (junior & men’s), and became a three-time university champion. A multi-sport enthusiast (cricket, chess, table tennis, badminton, squash), he believes sport should be a culture and way of life.
In the last nine months, he has also championed darts—setting up a four-board academy in Ahmedabad, coaching juniors, and promoting the sport across Gujarat. For the past nine months, he has been in love with darts and is building a clear pathway in Gujarat through regular coaching and grassroots events.
