Ashfaque Sayed hails from Pune city, where his journey in darts began two decades ago in 2003 and continues to this day. During his journey, he was blessed to qualify for three World Cups representing India, namely the WDF 2005, PDC 2008, and PDC 2015. He was also part of the WDF Asia Cup in 2006 and has bagged a host of national titles. His wife, Ayesha, was also part of the WDF 2005 World Cup, and his son, Izhaan, represented India in U19 cricket. 

Currently, Ashfaque is an active player and an avid promoter of the game. Professionally, he is in the biomedical field, designing and executing modern operation theatres.
